Dr Cairns-Christie. Working in York Place. Passed Practice on to Dr Ian Miskelly.
As seen below. Dr Brightman’s practice joined with Ian Miskelly and Dr Watt in 1972. Before this Dr Brightman had worked on his own taking over from Dr Laurie, who in turn inherited the practice from Dr Lowe and Dr Mercer (who left to go to Canada). Dr Brightman’s practice was at 19 York Place but was originally, in Dr Lowes time, on the Glasgow Road, on the right hand side going to Cherrybank past Rose Crescent.

Dr McNaught emigrated to the New World (Canada) at an early date.
Dr I Miskelly & Dr Jean Binnington
Practice premises were moved to 7 Barossa Place. Dr Binnington was a partner for 12 years and then transferred to Community Medical Service.

Dr McEwan joined a 2 partner practice in Dundee at the end of March 1967.

Practice List size 4,100 patients.

Merger of single handed practice (at York Place, Perth) with 2 partner practice at 7 Barossa Place, Perth. Total Practice List size now 5,300 patients. Dr Brightman retired from practice at the end of June 1973.

Dr Miskelly retired from practice at the end of March 1977 because of ill health.

Dr Stewart recognised as a Trainer from July 1978. First trainee assistant (Dr Andrew Martin) commenced on 1st July 1978. Practice moved to Drumhar Health Centre at the end of June 1981. Dr Gillingham recognised as a Trainer from July 1983. Practice had a trainee assistant each year from 1978 to 1994 inclusive. Dr Stewart retired from medical practice at the end of July 1987.

Dr Watt retired from medical practice at the end July 1993.

Dr Gillingham died in an accident, in France, January 1994.

Dr Jane H Reid joins the practice as a part-time partner.
Dr Elspeth C Docherty joins the practice as a part-time partner. Dr John Auld reduces his commitment by one session per week.
